From design assist through execution, CarolinaPower demonstrates operational rigor, professional respect, and commitment to people. As the Carolina's division of the PPC Partners, CarolinaPower pairs strong field execution with a culture that invests in workforce development, leadership, and long term relationships.

THE APPRENTICESHIP

This is a four-year paid apprenticeship tied to field experience, classroom instruction, and earning formal credentials.

 

More time will be spent in the field than the classroom. Working outside, noise, dust, and fumes are all part of large scale construction projects.

 

The program includes 8,000 hours of on the job training and more than 576 hours of post-secondary instruction. Program graduates receive credentials from NCCER, US Department of Labor, and Greenville Technical College.

  • Construction or engineering experience

  • Mechanical reasoning

  • Comfort with algebra and geometry

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum age of 18

  • High school diploma

  • Ability to pass:

    • drug test

    • background check

    • occupational physical

  • DD214 if a veteran

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Reliable transportation
